What we store, why we store it, and how to change your choice at any time.
1. Your three choices
When you first visit explorenesthorizon.xyz a consent notice appears with three options:
- Accept all — strictly necessary, preference and measurement categories are enabled.
- Reject non-essential — only strictly necessary storage is used. Nothing optional is enabled.
- Manage preferences — opens the category panel so you can enable or disable each optional category individually and save your choice.
Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on every page. Once you have responded, the notice closes and does not block navigation.
2. Categories explained
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: delivering pages, remembering that you have responded to the consent notice, and basic security. These cannot be switched off, because without them the site cannot operate correctly.
Preferences
Optional. Used to remember reading settings such as the last tactic panel or style tab you opened, so that returning to a page feels continuous. Disabling this category simply means those elements always open in their default state.
Measurement
Optional. Aggregated, page-level statistics that help us understand which notes are read most and plan future editorial work. This category is not used for advertising, profiling or resale, and it is never used to identify individual readers.
3. What we never use
This site does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, social network pixels, betting or affiliate tags, ticketing widgets or fingerprinting techniques.
4. Changing your mind
You can reopen the consent notice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer of every page, then choose a different option or adjust individual categories. You can also clear site data through your browser settings, which removes the stored choice entirely; the notice will then appear again on your next visit.
5. Browser-level control
All major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage, either globally or per site. Blocking strictly necessary storage may cause the consent notice to display on every page load.
6. Updates
If our use of cookies changes, this page will be updated and the consent notice will be shown again where a new consent is required.
