What this site is

This is an independent editorial blog about football tactics. Its subject is the manager: the system they build, the patterns that repeat across their teams, the strengths they consistently bring, and the identity their sides carry onto the pitch. We cover a deliberately small pool — five coaches — because the aim is depth rather than coverage.

Every profile is written from a single fixed snapshot of tactical information that is contained within this website. That snapshot defines the tactical approach, strengths and style attributed to each manager. We do not extend it, and we do not update it with live information.

What this site separates

The core editorial rule here is separation. Tactical identity, strengths and match-model analysis are one category. Speculation is another, and it is not published on this site.

• Tactical identity — how a manager organises a team, described from the fixed snapshot.
• Strengths — the areas where a manager consistently adds value, as recorded in the snapshot.
• Match-model analysis — how those elements combine in and out of possession.
• Excluded — predictions, transfer talk, injury claims, line-ups, results forecasting and any form of betting content.

What this site is not

Explorenesthorizon is not a betting site, a sportsbook, a tipping service, a ticket seller, a travel operator or a live-score provider. It does not carry odds, probabilities or any invitation to gamble. It is not a season-preview publication and it does not report news. It is not affiliated with any club, federation, broadcaster, bookmaker or ticket provider.

We also do not publish official club logos, competition marks, player portraits, press photography or broadcaster imagery. All visual material on this site is original typography and abstract tactical illustration created for the blog.

Editorial language

We use neutral analytical labels — elite tactician, high-control coach, pressing specialist, flexible manager, system builder, transition expert — because they describe method rather than ranking. Where the snapshot includes a caveat, such as "sometimes rigid", we keep it. Where the snapshot is silent, we say so instead of filling the gap. Each label is defined on the methodology page.
